Basic Information: Bangladesh Small & Cottage Industries Corporation (BSCIC) is the prime sponsoring institution for the promotion, extension and development of the Small & Cottage Industries. Present BSCIC is the succesor of the then EPSCIC which formed in 1957 by the enforcement of the Legislative law. Enormous entrepreneurs and industries have been promoted by the direct and indirect support from BSCIC. 

District level Offices of BSCIC are named by Industrial Service Center (ISC). Almost in every district, Industrial Estates are governed by the ISC office at district level. Industrial Estates of BSCIC lease out industrial plots to the new entrepreneurs for establishing manufacturing and service industries. 

Designation of Head of the Office: Assistant General Manager

Brief Activities of BSCIC: BSCIC aims to eradicate poverty, increase the employment, augment industrial production volume, and to contribute to the socio-economic development of the country. It also organizes the training programs for the industrial entrepreneurs at times.
